Complete Terms & Conditions

​1. Purpose of the Organization

​

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in NAYOU INC., a no for profit organization childcare support network offering free workshops to nannies and babysitters, connecting families with qualified babysitters and nannies through our programs. All members agree to uphold the mission of providing safe, reliable, and developmentally supportive care for children.

2. Eligibility Requirements

​

For all babysitters & nannies in the network

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must provide valid identification and contact information.

  • Must complete the organization’s orientation, workshops.

  • Must agree to follow all safety, conduct, and reporting policies.

  • Must disclose any relevant certifications (CPR, First Aid, ECE training).

Programs:

Babysitters and Nannies

Nannies and babysitters interested in joining our program must undergo additional background screening.

 Parents & Guardians​

  • Must agree to respectful communication and safe home conditions.

  • Must comply with scheduling, payment (if applicable), and cancellation policies.

3. Code of Conduct 

​

Caregivers agree to:

  • Maintain professional behavior at all times.

  • Arrive on time and communicate delays promptly.

  • Follow all child safety protocols.

  • Avoid physical punishment, verbal aggression, or discriminatory behavior.

  • Never use drugs, alcohol, or be under the influence while providing care.

  • Respect family privacy and confidentiality.

Parents & Guardians

​

Parents agree to:

  • Provide a safe, clean environment for caregivers.

  • Communicate expectations clearly and respectfully.

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior toward caregivers.

  • Provide accurate emergency contact information.

4. Responsibilities

​

Babysitters & Nannies

  • Supervise children at all times.

  • Follow instructions regarding meals, routines, and household rules.

  • Report any accidents, injuries, or concerns immediately.

  • Use phones only for emergencies or essential communication.

  • Maintain updated availability in the organization’s system.

Parents & Guardians

  • Provide clear instructions for routines, allergies, and special needs.

  • Ensure caregivers have access to emergency supplies and contact numbers.

  • Honor agreed-upon hours and compensation (if applicable).

  • Notify the organization of any incidents or concerns.

5. Scheduling & Attendance

  • All sessions must be booked through the organization’s approved system.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance when possible.

  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in suspension.

  • Caregivers must notify families and the organization immediately if unable to attend.

6. Safety & Emergency Protocols

  • Caregivers must follow all safety guidelines provided during orientation and workshops.

  • Parents must disclose allergies, medical conditions, or behavioral needs.

  • In emergencies, caregivers must contact 911 first, then notify the parent and organization.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All personal information shared within the organization is confidential.

  • Caregivers may not share photos, videos, or identifying information about children.

  • Parents may not share caregiver personal information outside the organization.

  • Members agree to comply with the organization’s privacy policy.

8. Liability

  • The organization provides screening and workshops but does not guarantee outcomes.

  • Parents remain responsible for the safety of the home environment.

  • Caregivers remain responsible for their conduct and adherence to policies.

  • The organization is not liable for personal property loss, misconduct, or injuries resulting from negligence by either party.

9. Grounds for Suspension or Removal

Any member may be suspended or removed for:

  • Violating safety policies

  • Harassment or discrimination

  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows

  • Providing false information

  • Endangering a child

  • Criminal activity or misconduct

10. Programs: Dispute Resolution

​

  • Parents, guardians, babysitters, and nannies agree to attempt to resolve their differences amongst themselves or part ways.

  • The organization reserves the right to make the final decision on the programs.

​

11. Acceptance of Terms

​

By joining the organization, all babysitters, nannies, parents and guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
